Scripture Readers

Brothers and sisters in this ministry serve the congregation every Sunday by taking time to prepare for, and deliver, Scripture readings as requested by that Sunday’s worship leader.

Readers must have a confident, good quality reading voice, and the ability to articulate, project and add realism/drama to their specific reading.  To that end, a three-hour workshop is offered by the ministry leader every couple years to train potential readers.

Currently there is a pool of G&P-trained readers, as well as readers trained in other ways, from which the worship leaders can pick on a rotating basis. All who are interested should contact Kari Frey at stlfreys@sbcglobal.net
