Our Needs

Rooms like the Fellowship Hall, revitalized by the capital campaign of 2001, and our inviting library, opened in 2000, suggest what our building can be. They can also help us see what remains to be done, with your help.

Some needs are dramatic:
  • Water damage in sanctuary, shelter, and stairwells
  • Winter Shelter sleeping room window leaks, floor cracks, walls damaged
  • Dilapidated kitchen plumbing
  • Lack of handicap access
  • Threadbare carpet in the sanctuary creating trip hazards
  • Dysfunctional sound system
Some needs are less obvious:
  • Tuckpointing
  • Repainting
  • Heating and cooling improvements
Some are invisible but urgent:
  • Lead paint
  • Antiquated wiring
  • Lack of fire sprinklers
