Fellowship Groups

Life Together in the Messy Pursuit of Jesus

We were made to live in community. God didn’t make us to be islands, lone wolves, or any other metaphors we have for solitary living.

We need a space where we can be known, and where we can be free to let others into our mess.

We need a space where we can work to consider others over ourselves.

We need a space made up of people from all generations and backgrounds to share stories, eat meals, pray, and dig into God’s Word together.

That’s why we have Fellowship Groups.  No group is perfect, and no two groups are exactly the same; we don’t expect them to be, because people are messy and so is our pursuit of Jesus.

Most groups meet on Wednesday or Tuesday nights from 7 pm to 9 pm and are located all over the metro area from University City to Old North to South City St. Louis.

The addresses are approximate. Please use the link at the bottom of the page to contact us for more information.

What to Expect

  • Whether a meal, a hopefully-not-too-weird icebreaker, or just some informal time to chat, we take time in these groups to get to know each other.

  • We spend some time digging into scripture, last week’s sermon, or a good book on the Christian life, and talk about how it might bring the gospel to bear on our everyday lives.

  • We set aside a good chunk of these gatherings to check in with & pray for each other. We also pray for our neighborhoods, Saint Louis, our country, and the world - including the missionaries our church supports.

  • Many groups add in other things - like a service project once a year, or monthly meals, or bonfires or day trips in the summer.
