Both Cincinnati natives, Sam and his wife, Tara, got married there in 2015 and moved to Saint Louis a week later so Sam could attend Covenant Seminary. He graduated with his M.Div in 2018 and a few months later started his position at Grace & Peace. Sam and Tara live in South City with their crazy kids, Kuyper, Maeva, and Aurelia. Sam likes to run, read (mostly nerdy theology and horror), listen to rap a little too loudly, and drink egg nog year-round.
